Hi, I'm Kerry and I'm currently studying photography at Torrens University.  For my folio project, I'm developing a lifestyling photography concept titled Perfectly Imperfect under the broader folio direction Everyday Stories.

The folio focuses on candid, emotionally honest images of families, couples and pets, with an emphasis on connection, personality and the beauty of everyday moments rather than heavily posed portraiture.

I'm looking for brief feedback from a practicing photographer on the concept, audience and overall direction of the folio.  The questionnaire should only take around 3 - 5 minutes, and even short dot-point responses are hugely appreciated.

Everyday Stories explores the beauty found in authentic connection and everyday life. The folio focuses on genuine interactions between people, pets and the environments they share, celebrating the moments that often go unnoticed but become some of our most meaningful memories. Rather than creating highly posed portraits, the project aims to capture natural emotion, personality and connection through a lifestyle photography approach. The concept of Perfectly Imperfect recognises that life’s most memorable moments are rarely polished, perfectly planned or staged.

Target Audience
My primary audience is families, couples and pet owners who value candid, emotionally honest imagery and want photographs that feel natural, personal and genuine rather than highly posed.
