Gold Coast Water Polo (GCWP) will be entering teams into the Brisbane Metro Junior Competition (BMJC). Where required, will seek to form composite teams with Warriors Water Polo.
The BMJC is held on Saturdays at multiple venues across Brisbane during Term 4, 2026 and Term 1, 2027, with approximately 20 games scheduled throughout the season.
Expected BMJC Junior & Grade Divisions
• U12 Boys & Girls (Born 2015–2019)
• U13 Boys & Girls (Born 2014–2017)
• U14 Boys & Girls (Born 2013–2016)
• U15 Boys & Girls (Born 2012–2015)
• U16 Boys & Girls (Born 2011–2014)
• U17 Boys & Girls (Born 2010–2013)
• U18 Boys & Girls (Born 2009–2012)
Players are eligible to play in up to two age divisions (exemptions to play in three divisions may be available).
Costs: To be confirmed and will be based on Water Polo Queensland team fees, coaching costs, and training expenses.
Registration: Players must hold a Platinum membership for the relevant season and be primarily registered with Gold Coast Water Polo. This will be required in the new season in September.
Athletes intending to represent GCWP at all other tournaments and competitions for the upcoming season are expected to be primary registered. This includes; Premier League and Reserves, Junior Country Championships, Senior country Championships and Australian Youth Water Polo Championships.
