    Our teachers are independent contractors, and our pay rates start at $28-36 per hour, depending on level of teaching experience, and how much demand we have for your instrument.

  • Our teachers sometimes offer online lessons upon request (for example, on bad weather days, or if a student is under the weather). Are you able/willing to offer online lessons if requested?*

  • Our most in-demand hours are between the hours of 3:00-8:30pm on weekdays, and 10:00am-5:00pm on weekends.

    Our ideal shift length is about 5-6 hours (with one or two 15-minute breaks), but we'll try to accommodate teacher requests. For new teachers, we'll start with just one shift, then possibly expand later as shifts grow.

    Note: It takes time to get new students, so we can't guarantee how quickly shifts will fill! We do try to add early shifts for homeschooling students and adults as well, so please include those earlier hours below if they're possible for you.
