  • The Veterans Camp Ground allows guests to bring family dogs. However, they are not allowed at the pavilion (service dog exception) and must be registered with the Camp Ground office. THE VETERANS CAMP GROUND CHARGES A FEE FOR BRINGING NON SERVICE DOGS OF $120.00 FOR THE WEEK. THIS FEE WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FAMILY.

  • WE AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING VETERANS CAMPGROUND AND CAMP GRATITUDE POLICIES AND RULES

  • CAMPGROUND GUIDLINES AND RESTRICTIONS:

    • Campers can have up to two (2) vehicles per cabin. Motorcycles, golf carts and boat trailers are considered vehicles. Only exception, a third vehicle is allowed when valid handicap tag/plate is displayed and as long as no vehicles are blocking roads or fire lanes

    • No minors (under 16) are allowed to operate any motorized vehicle within the campground

    • Park only on your lot or in designated overflow parking areas (by the canteen or managers quarters)

    • ATV's, non-licensed motorized dirt bikes, and go-carts are not allowed on camp grounds.

    • Obey fire regulations. Campfires are not allowed if a fire watch is posted

    • The Camp prohibits illegal substances, firearms, weapons and fireworks

    • Dispose of trash in proper dumpsters and do not cut trees, shrubs or grass on hills by shoreline

    • Family pets are welcome, but campers are responsible for any damage caused by pets in their cabin

    • Non-veterans must be accompanied by the sponsoring veteran while in the canteen or have a camp issued pass

    • Children must never be left alone on camp property without adult supervision. Children are not allowed in the canteen bar or pool table area without an adult or after 10:00 pm

    • An adult must supervise children at all times when using the beach and when fishing from the docks, as there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty

    • The Camp curfew for children under the age of 18 is midnight

  • CAMP GRATITUDE POLICIES

    We understand that Camp Gratitude is held at The Veterans Camp Ground on Big Marine Lake, located at 11300 180th Street North, Marine on St Croix, MN 55047, starting June 18 2027 and ending June 25, 2027
    ADVERTISING:  We authorize Camp Gratitude to use pictures or video taken of our family during the Camp to be used in future marketing
    ACCESSIBILITY:  We understand that we must inform Camp Gratitude of any accessibility concerns
    LIABILITY:  We agree that Camp Gratitude, its Staff or Volunteers shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions or causes of action affecting our property or our family
    MINORS:  In case of a medical emergency while we are not present, we will allow Camp Gratitude staff to seek emergency treatment for your minor child.  We understand that Camp Gratitude will contact us as soon as possible if emergency medical treatment is provided

  • IMPORTANT APPLICATION DATES

    • July 1, 2026 - Camp Gratitude 2027 Application Window Opens
    • February 1, 2027 - Camp Gratitude will notify the families accepted for 2027 as well as those on the Wait List
    • February 28, 2027 - Deadline for families to confirm attending 2027 Camp Gratitude
    • March 1, 2027 - Families on the Wait List will be notified if any spots have opened
    • April 15, 2027 - Deadline for Wait List families to confirm attending 2027 Camp Gratitude

    • Application to be filled out completely
    • Attach PROOF of SERVICE, e.g. DD214, Retired or Active military ID. Note: VFW, American Legion or other similar organization memberships are NOT acceptable proof
