Limited to 12 participants, this cohort-based program will provide participants with the opportunities to grow their leadership skills through a unique blend of curated curriculum, hands-on learning, high-access professional networking, and a trip to Israel. Alongside a network of other talented peers, participants will graduate with a deepened understanding of how to lead systemic change and make positive impact through philanthropy and nonprofit board service across Jewish Birmingham.
Requirements for Applicants:
-Participants must be a resident of Birmingham, AL
-Participants must be under 45 years of age
-Participants must make a minimum gift of $360 to the Birmingham Jewish Federation's 2027 Annual Campaign, with the hope of continued philanthropic involvement beyond the program
-Full program participation is expected of participants. participants must attend all sessions (with the ability to miss 1 with adequate forewarning). Please ensure you are available on the dates listed for program sessions. Session dates can be found here
-Participants must serve on the board/committee of any Jewish agency and/or synaugogue in Birmingham upon completion of the program. The BJF will help facilitate participants finding positions.
