Original Products
Vendors are required to offer items that are substantially handmade. Products sold must be created or significantly handcrafted by the vendor. Mass-produced, commercially manufactured, or factory-made items are not permitted unless they have been substantially transformed through the vendor's original craftsmanship into a new, handmade product.
Electricity
Electricity is not available on-site for use by vendors unless written notice of electrical site approval is received in advance. Use of personal, quiet generators are permitted for food trucks/carts that are located outside of the pavilion space. Extension cords that run beside or must go across any walkways must be secured by a covering and/or proper tape.
Waste
No grease or gray water disposal is available. Water is not provided by the event. Trash barrels, recycling, and trash dumpsters are on-site. Vendors are responsible for removing debris and ensuring the general cleanliness of the area.
Photography and Promotion
Vendors agree to allow use of video and photography taken by event organizers and contracted photographers at the event, for promotional purposes.
Weather
Events will take place rain or shine. Severe weather may result in event cancellation at any point before or during the event. Applicants agree to be present despite mild weather conditions. Each participant is responsible for preparing displays to withstand weather fluctuations, including rain and wind.
Taxes and Insurance
Vendors execute this agreement as independent contractors and shall always have complete supervision, direction, and control over the services to fulfill requirements. Vendors execute this agreement as independent contractors, not as an employee of the event. Vendors will assume responsibility for appropriate payment of payroll taxes and charges under applicable federal and local law. Vendors agree to take complete responsibility for paying the relevant federal and state taxes as independent contractors. Vendors are required to carry their own insurance as the City of West St. Paul does not provide this coverage.
Sales
Price and terms of sales are between the buyer and seller. Vendors agree to demonstrate fair business practices. Wi-Fi will be availabe on-site - technical issues may arrise and vendors shall have alternate plans in place for these instances.
Terms
1. Vendors are required to stay on-site for the full duration of the event. 2. Music is not permitted unless an entertainment application has been received. 3. Approved vendors who violate event rules, laws, ordinances, etc. may be removed from participation, without refund, at the discretion of city staff.
Licensing
By completing this application, you are acknowledging that your operations have received and maintains all licensing, including food safety requirements.
