Check-in:

Please remember to check in at the registration booth. Check-in opens at 8:00 AM, an hour before the day's first matches. Matches will start promptly at 9:00 AM (even earlier if everyone in your event has checked in and courts are available).

On the tournament day, you will be directed to the area where all brackets are listed with court assignments and Court Monitor information.

Please proceed directly to your assigned courts for warm-up and to see your assigned court monitor to receive important information and your score sheets for each match. After each match, complete your scoresheet, return the ball, and return it to your court monitor to receive your next match. Ask your court monitor if you have any questions.

TOURNAMENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I hereby acknowledge and agree to participate in the MONEYBALL TEAM SHOWDOWN (the “Tournament”) organized by the Pilipinas Pickleball Club of New Jersey (the “Club”) on August 15, 2026, held at PICKLEBALL KINGDOM – WATCHUNG 1155 US-22, WATCHUNG, NJ 07069.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Tournament, I agree to the following:

• Assumption of Risks: I understand and acknowledge that participating in the Tournament involves certain risks and hazards, including, but not limited to, the risk of personal injury, property damage, or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks and hazards associated with my participation.
• Release and Waiver of Liability: I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Pilipinas Pickleball Club of New Jersey, PICKLEBALL KINGDOM – Watchung, NJ, its owners, staff, employees, and all tournament officers, directors, agents, representatives, volunteers, and sponsors (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury
— including, but not limited to, bodily injury, personal injury, or death — that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, while participating in the Tournament or while on or near the premises.
• Indemnification: I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against all liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to my participation in the Tournament or any breach of this waiver.
• Medical Treatment: In the event of injury or illness during the Tournament, I authorize the Club and its representatives to obtain and administer medical treatment on my behalf, including transport to a hospital or medical facility if necessary.
• Publicity Release: I grant permission for the use of my name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical information in connection with promotional or marketing materials related to the Tournament, without compensation or further notice.
• Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

I have read this waiver and release of liability, fully understand its terms, and voluntarily agree to be legally bound by them. I understand that by signing this document, I am waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue the Released Parties.
