Med Ed Internship - Summer 2026

Med Ed is a student-led organisation dedicated to promoting the effective dissemination of valuable medical knowledge. Our 4-week internship provides all STEM students with an opportunity to enhance their transcripts and personal learning with an opportunity that steps away from the general textbook knowledge. The internship will not only offer an interactive platform for students to dive deeper into the world of biology by constructing articles and other social media content, but the internship will also help hone skills in teamwork, time management, leadership and much more. Eligibility Criteria: Applicants are eligible to apply if they are in at least 10th Grade, O2, or 2nd Year Matric (or any higher grade).

Department Information:

The Med Ed Internship offers two departments for interns to work in. Each applicant is expected to choose which department they would prefer to work in. The description of the two departments have been given below.

The Article Writing Department seeks interns with strong writing and research skills to craft well-structured, engaging, and relevant articles in the field of life sciences.
The Content Development Department requires a thorough understanding of social media trends and the ability to create compelling visuals and captions that capture attention and boost engagement across our social media platforms. Interns will be required to research relevant information and then place that information coherently in a graphic design.
