Housewares Giveaway - STUDENTS

*This event is open to all NEW international graduate students and scholars*

Volunteers and staff with iStudentsDuke understand that setting up an apartment in Durham can be costly and time consuming. As a welcome to Durham and Duke, we are offering a housewares giveaway where you can select a limited number of gently used kitchen items, towels, bed linens, etc to help get you started.

Saturday, August 8, 2026, 11am-3pm

Blacknall Church (1902 Perry St, Durham, NC)

We ask that you find your way to the event by bus or Uber. After you select your items, a driver will take you back to your apartment. Bonus: You may make a new local friend with the volunteer driver!

By registering you are indicating your intent to participate. Follow up details will be sent closer to the date of the event to all registrants.
