The Program Committee is seeking proposals for presentations for the 6th Annual Construction Mental Health and Wellbeing Conference. Each proposal must be centered on one of the following five themes:
- Innovations in Mental Health Promotion
- Suicide Prevention - Hope Through Action
- Culture of Care and Psychological Safety
- Physical and Environmental Root Causes for Mental Health Challenges
- Substance Use Disorders, Addictive Behaviors, Overdose Prevention and Recovery Support
The goal of these workshops is that the audience will walk away with at least one tangible tool, resource, or skill that they take action on to improve their workers’ well-being.
All presenters will be asked to register and pay for conference attendance and travel.
We are seeking submissions for one-hour workshops on February 24th or 25th.
STANDARD BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
Proposals for presentations will be evaluated by the Program Committee on the following criteria:
-
Impact & Practical Application (35%) - Will attendees leave with ideas, tools, or actions they can apply in their work or organization?
-
Relevance & Advancement of the Field (25%) - Does the proposal address an important issue, emerging trend, unmet need, or gap in construction mental health, wellbeing, suicide prevention, or recovery?
-
Credibility & Perspective (25%) - Does the proposal demonstrate appropriate expertise, lived experience, evidence-informed practices, partnerships, and/or diverse perspectives?
-
Audience Engagement (15%) - Does the session include meaningful opportunities for participant interaction, discussion, reflection, or application?
SPONSORED BREAKOUT SESSIONS:
Organizations may sponsor one of the conference tracks for $5,000, which includes an exclusive one-hour workshop session. Each sponsored track is exclusive, meaning your organization will be the sole sponsor for that track.
Sponsored sessions should provide the same high-quality educational experience as our regular breakout sessions. Proposals should be innovative, informed by evidence and/or lived expertise, include practical and actionable recommendations, and actively engage attendees. As a sponsor, you may also incorporate information about your organization's products or services, provided they are relevant to the session topic and enhance the educational value of the presentation.
