WEEKEND EVENT DISCLAIMER AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

By registering for Crescent Beach Days (the "Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participation in the Event and involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, and other potential hazards. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the Event.
Voluntary Participation: You understand that you are not required to participate in any of the activities included during the Event. You are encouraged to opt-out or choose to participate in less strenuous, inherently safer activities if you feel unsure about the safety of any activity.
Release and Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Upper Crescent Beach Association, its officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and affiliates, and the property owners where the individual events take place (the "Released Parties") from any liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from your participation in the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, including legal fees and expenses, arising from your participation in the Event or your breach of these terms.
Medical Treatment: You consent to receive medical treatment deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the Event. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all associated costs.
Photographic Release: You grant the Released Parties the right to use, reproduce, and distribute photographs, films, videotapes, and sound recordings of you for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.
Compliance with Rules and Regulations: You agree to comply with all Event rules, regulations, and instructions from organizers and venue staff. Failure to adhere may result in removal from the Event without refund.
Governing Law: This Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, so the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
