JOHN DERRY PARK IMPROVEMENTS
John Derry Park (JDP) is located at 312 Inverness Way South, Englewood, CO. JDP has been in operation since the late 1970s, with a number of upgrades over the years initially tied to serving employees throughout Inverness. Over the last 20 years, however, the District has evolved into an area where employment hubs, retail, and housing now come together, helping transform Inverness into a true work-live-play community!
In recognition of this shift, Inverness is exploring options to improve JDP and further elevate its role and services for our community. To that end, we are gathering input from residents and employees to help shape the planning and design of the next JDP upgrades.
Currently, JDP offers the following amenities, all within approx. 22 acres of land:
- Three (3) softball fields
- One (1) multi-purpose field
- Eight (8) sand volleyball courts
- One (1) basketball court
- Three (3) gazebos, including large picnic tables with seating
- 1.2 miles of paved trails
- Restrooms
- Free parking
- A centralized feature pond (+/- 1.3 acres)
