• Register for the July 2026 Teacher Professional Development Day

    This free professional development workshop is designed for high school biology and environmental science teachers, science supervisors, and environmental club advisors. Participants will engage in hands-on field learning, explore restoration projects at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve, and receive classroom-ready resources aligned with NGSS standards. Date & Time: Thursday, July 16th from 9 am to 3 pm. Rain date: Friday, July 17th. Meet-up Location: Mountain Lakes House within the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. A $200 teacher stipend is available for up to 10 eligible teachers who attend the full-day workshop and partner with FOPOS during the 2026–2027 school year.
