  • Hedgehog Hill Forest Learning Cooperative offers a mixed-age, nature-based learning experience rooted in free play, seasonal rhythms, practical skills, and community. Children spend the majority of the day outdoors exploring, creating, and learning through meaningful experiences.

  • What Children May Experience

    • Quiet rest and observation
  • Activities vary according to weather, children's interests, and the rhythms of the season and will be centered around exploring the 5 elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Aether.
  • What to Bring

  • Tuition

  • We do require a deposit at the time of registration of $150 to hold your spot. The deadline for registration/deposit is Aug 15th.

  • $60/week (2 days per week)
  • The remaining $450 is due by September 8th. Payment plans and sliding scale available upon discussion, please reach out.

  • Our goal is to make nature-based community accessible to families. Contributions help sustain the program while ensuring no child is turned away for financial reasons. Please let us know if you want information on how to sponsor a student or if you'd like more info on the sliding scale.
  • We are an EFA approved direct pay vendor- invoices available upon request.
  • Important Notes

    • This is an outdoor program; we meet in most weather conditions.
    • Families are expected to provide appropriate clothing for the season.
    • Program activities are child-led and may differ from week to week.
    • Hedgehog Hill Forest Learning Cooperative is a small community program and not a conventional school.
