Programmers play a vital role in curating Wildscreen's Official Selection Programme 2026, shaping a line-up of approximately 25 productions. The films will be screened to public audiences in Bristol and Bath as part of the Wildscreen Festival 2026 and online via our Festival platform. This is a flexible, remote volunteer role, perfect for those eager to expand their hands-on experience in festival programming and discover original and creative stories about the natural world.

Contract: Freelance, fixed-term between 6 July –14 August 2026.
Location: Fully remote. This role is deliverables-based with flexible working hours across the contract period. The Programmer is expected to complete all viewing, meetings and curatorial responsibilities within agreed deadlines.
