1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that athletic activities involve inherent risks of injury, including risks from running, jumping, throwing, physical exertion, collisions, contact with other participants, equipment, or playing surfaces, weather conditions, and travel to and from the venue. I knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and accept full responsibility for participation in the Event.
2. Release and Waiver of Liability
I hereby release, waive, and discharge StadiumPlay, the host venue, the venue operator, and each of their respective owners, affiliates, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and agents (collectively, the Released Parties) from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action for injury, loss, or damage arising out of or related to participation in the Event, to the fullest extent permitted by law, except for conduct that is grossly negligent or intentional.
3. Medical Authorization
I authorize the Released Parties to obtain or administer emergency medical care if needed during the Event, and I accept responsibility for any costs of such care. I confirm that the participant is physically able to take part, or has been cleared to do so.
4. Photo, Video, and Likeness Consent
I grant StadiumPlay and the host venue the irrevocable right and permission to photograph and record the participant during the Event, and to use, reproduce, edit, publish, and display the resulting photographs, video, audio, name, voice, and likeness in any media, including websites, social media, advertising, and promotional materials, without compensation, notification, or further approval. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished materials.
5. Email and Communications Consent
I consent to StadiumPlay and the host organization using the email address and contact information I provide to send confirmations, schedules, event logistics, follow-ups, and occasional promotional messages about future StadiumPlay events. I further consent to StadiumPlay sharing my email address and contact information with the host organization for marketing use. I understand I may opt out of promotional emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message.
6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, or cost they may incur as a result of the participant's involvement in the Event, except where caused by the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of a Released Party.
7. Governing Terms
This document is governed by the laws of the state in which the Event is held. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. I confirm I am signing this document freely and voluntarily.
