• 2027 Tempe Blooms Floral Designer Application

  • Thank you for your interest in creating a floral installation for Tempe Blooms!

    Before completing the Floral Designer Application, please read the Event Details and Floral Designer Expectations.

    Timeline: 

    • August 21, 2026: Application Deadline
    • August 28, 2026: Floral Designer Selection Notification
    • September 4, 2026: Floral Designer Email Confirmation of Participation Deadline
    • September 13, 2026: Floral Designer Meeting at the Downtown Tempe Office at 6:30PM (Florists will meet our staff and the other floral designers, floral installation sites will be selected, and the judging criteria process will be reviewed).
    • November 1, 2026: Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Floral Installation Details Due (design concept, anticipated budget, etc.)
    • December 1, 2026: Floral Orders Due
    • January 4, 2026: Floral Designer Meeting at 6:30PM  
    • January 22, 2027: Floral Installation Creation (completed by 3PM)
    • January 23 & 24, 2027: Tempe Blooms event from 10AM - 5PM
    • January 24, 2027: at 4PM Award Ceremony
    • January 24, 2027: starting at 5PM – 9PM Floral Designers are required to take down the floral installation. DTA will assist with removing items no longer usable after the event.

  • By submitting an application to Downtown Tempe Authority, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and remain familiar the Tempe Blooms Event Details and Florist Expectations in full, along with the legal information in the document.

    I will abide by the stated rules and follow deadlines for this event. While setting up for and at the event, I will maintain a standard of behavior including no foul or suggestive language, no negative communication, no unprofessional sales tactics or unprofessional conduct. The event is a community event for all ages. Any unprofessional conduct may result in the cancellation of this contract and cancellation of any futures participation in any Downtown Tempe events.
