2026 Training & Education grants

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation is now accepting grant applications to support nonprofits in building organizational capacity.

The NMF Training & Education Endowment Fund was established in 2004 to provide financial support to nonprofit organizations and leaders in Northwest Minnesota, with preference given to efforts that build the leadership knowledge, skills, and capacity.

The typical grant award is $2,500; however, grants up to $5,000 will be reviewed and considered. Grants are available to nonprofit (501c3) organizations that serve the Northwest Minnesota region. Priority points will be given to those organizations located within the region. Completed grants applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on August 7th.
