Scholarship Requirements and Agreement
Programme Participation Requirements

As part of this scholarship, recipients are required to participate in the following programme components:

Mentoring
Recipients will receive up to 11 one-on-one support sessions per year, comprising one dedicated pathway planning session at the start of the scholarship year and 10 individual peer support and supervision sessions with a qualified Kaiako from the Advisory Group, held across school terms.

Wānanga
Recipients will be invited to attend a Year One Wānanga, facilitated by Ngāti Kahu Kaiako from across Aotearoa. The Wānanga focuses on strengthening mātauranga Māori, developing teaching practice, supporting individual learning pathways, and aligning teaching approaches with Ngāti Kahu values and best-practice models.
