Participant Agreement, Terms & Conditions, Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Catalyst Curations™, powered by Fora Travel, curates educational, experiential, and conservation-focused travel experiences for families. Please read this agreement carefully, as it contains important legal rights and obligations.
By electronically accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms contained herein.

1. Authorization of Primary Adult
The individual completing and accepting this Participant Agreement ("Primary Adult") certifies that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have the legal authority to register all individuals included in this reservation.
The Primary Adult agrees to these Terms & Conditions, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, Parent/Guardian Consent, Medical Authorization, and all related policies on behalf of themselves and every participant listed in the reservation.
The Primary Adult represents that all adult participants have been informed of these terms and agree to be bound by them. For any participating minor(s), the Primary Adult certifies that they are the parent or legal guardian or otherwise have legal authority to execute this agreement on the minor's behalf.
The Primary Adult accepts responsibility for ensuring that all information submitted during registration is accurate and complete.

2. About Catalyst Curations
Catalyst Curations™ is an experiential travel company that curates educational travel experiences. Travel arrangements are coordinated by an independent travel advisor affiliated with Fora Travel.
Catalyst Curations serves as the itinerary designer and coordinator but does not own, manage, supervise, or control hotels, airlines, transportation providers, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, guides, activity providers, restaurants, or other third-party suppliers.

3. Program Description
Sea Turtle Summer is an educational travel experience designed to introduce families to marine conservation, environmental stewardship, STEM careers, and experiential learning through partnerships with conservation organizations and community partners.
4 night hotel stay at contracted hotel through Catalyst Curations by Fora Travel, all resort fees and taxes included. Excluded expenses include golf and spa amenities. $200 F+B credit for use at hotel only. Additional nights July 28th and August 2nd May be purchased for an additional charge of $300/night at the contracted hotel rate inclusive of fees and taxes.
Activities may include educational presentations, conservation projects, wildlife observation, beaches, boats, transportation, guided tours, and optional recreational activities.
Wildlife sightings, weather conditions, and specific programming cannot be guaranteed.

4. Assumption of Risk
I understand participation includes inherent risks, including but not limited to:
• Ocean and beach environments
• Boats and water transportation
• Swimming and snorkeling (if selected)
• Wildlife encounters
• Walking on uneven surfaces
• Weather conditions
• Slips, trips, and falls
• Transportation accidents
• Illness or injury
I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation for myself and all minor participants included in my reservation.

5. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Catalyst Curations™, Fora Travel, participating nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, hotels, transportation providers, volunteers, contractors, guides, activity operators, sponsors, and all affiliated partners from any claims, demands, damages, losses, injuries, illnesses, property damage, expenses, or liabilities arising from participation in this experience except where prohibited by law.

6. Third-Party Suppliers
Catalyst Curations contracts with independent suppliers to provide accommodations, transportation, educational experiences, excursions, restaurants, and activities.
Catalyst Curations is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, delays, bankruptcy, cancellations, financial default, service interruptions, or other actions of third-party suppliers.

7. Medical Authorization
I certify that all participants are physically able to participate in the activities selected.
Should emergency medical treatment become necessary and I cannot be reached immediately, I authorize emergency medical personnel to provide treatment deemed necessary.
I understand all medical expenses remain my responsibility.

8. Parent/Guardian Consent
I certify that I am the legal parent or guardian of any participating minor(s) listed on this reservation.
I authorize their participation in all scheduled and selected activities.
I understand that parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising their own children throughout the program unless otherwise stated.

9. Accessibility
Catalyst Curations welcomes participants of all abilities and will make reasonable efforts to coordinate accessibility requests with third-party suppliers.
Because accommodations depend upon individual suppliers and facilities, specific accommodations cannot be guaranteed.
Participants requiring accommodations should notify Catalyst Curations as early as possible.

10. Photography & Media Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event, I grant Catalyst Curations permission to photograph, video record, and use photographs, videos, audio recordings, and testimonials for educational, promotional, website, social media, and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

11. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Participants will receive travel insurance information following registration.
Failure to purchase travel insurance may result in financial loss due to cancellation, interruption, illness, weather, supplier default, or unforeseen circumstances.

12. Payments
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve participation.
Payment schedules and final payment deadlines will be communicated separately.
Failure to make payments by the required deadlines may result in cancellation of the reservation.

13. Cancellation Policy
The initial deposit is non-refundable because it covers planning services, administrative expenses, supplier commitments, and program coordination.
Additional cancellation penalties may apply according to hotel and supplier policies.
No refunds will be provided for:
• Missed activities
• Late arrivals
• Early departures
• Wildlife not appearing
• Weather modifications
• Unused portions of the itinerary

14. Hotel Expenses
Unless specifically stated otherwise, Catalyst Curations pays only the contracted room rate and applicable room taxes included in the package price.
Participants remain responsible for:
• Resort fees
• Parking
• Incidentals
• Room service
• Personal purchases
• Damage charges
• Additional gratuities not specifically included.

15. Itinerary Changes
Catalyst Curations reserves the right to modify schedules, activities, locations, or partners when necessary due to weather, conservation requirements, operational needs, supplier availability, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond its control.
Comparable substitute experiences may be offered whenever reasonably possible.

16. Code of Conduct
Participants agree to behave respectfully toward fellow guests, staff, conservation partners, hotel employees, volunteers, wildlife, and local communities.
Catalyst Curations reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior jeopardizes the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others. No refund shall be issued in such circumstances.

17. Force Majeure
Catalyst Curations shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or changes resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, or other emergencies.

18. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida.
