Training Safety
Training may occur in homes, shelters, public spaces, or other environments. Dog training professionals may be exposed to inherent risks, including bites, scratches, lunging, or other injuries while handling dogs.
By participating in services, Client agrees to:
- disclose hazards in the training environment
- supervise children during sessions
- ensure dogs remain on leash unless directed otherwise
- clean up after their dog
- follow all trainer instructions
Client acknowledges that trainers may be injured while handling their dog, understands these risks are inherent in dog training and behavior work, and agrees that Dog Learning Lab, LLC shall not be held liable for injuries sustained by the trainer while handling the client's dog.
During training, Dog Learning Lab, LLC may recommend or utilize management tools or equipment such as harnesses, long lines, muzzles, treat pouches, or other training tools designed to increase safety and improve trainingoutcomes. Client agrees to use recommended equipment responsibly and understand that proper use is important for safety.
Dog Learning Lab, LLC reserves the right to stop or modify any session if the trainer determines that continuing would be unsafe.
