• NYSOA 2026 Call for Volunteers

NYSOA is calling on members to help shape the future of optometry in New York. We are now accepting volunteers to serve on key committees that support our mission and drive meaningful progress in the profession.
  • Whether you are an OD in private practice, academia, group settings, or any other area of the profession, and whether you are early in your career or more experienced, there is a place for your voice and expertise. We especially welcome faculty members from SUNY and other optometry programs to get involved.

Most committees meet virtually once per month with work in between meetings. Some may also meet in person at NYSOA’s In Vision Conference or the annual Leadership Retreat. In-person participation is encouraged but not required to serve.
