2026-27 EPIC Afterschool Childcare Registration

EPIC is a low-cost employee benefit for afterschool childcare offered by Beaufort County School District to full-time employees and eligible school district partners.

Before completing this form, below are important factors to consider:

All EPIC Afterschool Childcare overdue balances from the previous year MUST be paid or the employee must have completed a payroll deduction for the balance before enrolling your child for this year.
EPIC is offered on days school is in session and teacher workdays and staff Professional Development Days (see enrollment options below).
Students served must be enrolled in BCSD schools and between the ages of 5 and 13.
Students will attend EPIC at their enrolled school, which may not necessarily be the employee's place of employment.
Payment will be completed through payroll deductions for BCSD employees or MySchoolBucks for eligible school district partners. Choose one of the following enrollment options when registering.

Enrollment Options

There are 2 options for enrollment with corresponding costs. See below and select which option works best.

OPTION 1: EPIC Afterschool Childcare (Full-time Enrollment)
- Full-time EPIC Afterschool childcare is provided on school days and includes full-day childcare on teacher workdays and professional development days.
- EPIC is a continuous enrollment program for the academic school year, offered at the low cost of $50 per registered child, per pay cycle.
- Payroll deduction from 22 paychecks (employee) or MySchoolBucks invoice (eligible school district partners), beginning August 7, 2026.
- Childcare is held at your child’s enrolled school until 5:30 PM daily (4:30 PM on teacher workdays and professional development days).
OPTION 2: EPIC Full-day Childcare (Semester Enrollment)
- Childcare is provided ONLY on teacher workdays and professional development days.
  One-time deduction of $130 per registered child, per semester (August & January). You may select both semesters or only one semester.
- Childcare is held at your child’s enrolled school until 4:30 PM.
