    Helping Moreno Valley Homeowners Beautify Their Properties

  • Thank you for your interest in the City of Moreno Valley – Beautify MoVal: Home Rehabilitation Program. This program is designed to help eligible homeowners improve the appearance and condition of their homes while supporting neighborhood beautification throughout the community. 
     
    Eligible homeowners may receive forgiveable grant funding of up to $15,000 for approved exterior, street-facing, improvements that enhance curb appeal, improve property appearance, and address maintenance needs. Examples of eligible projects may include exterior painting, landscaping, fencing, stucco repair, façade improvements, and other approved exterior upgrades. 
     
    Funding is limited and awarded based on program eligibility requirements and available funds. 
     
    This pre-application will be used to determine preliminary eligibility for the program. Completing this form should take approximately 10 minutes.

  • Important Information 

    • Submission of this pre-application does not guarantee funding.  
    • Additional documentation may be requested if you are invited to submit a full application.  
    • The City must approve all improvements before work begins.  
    • Grant funds are paid directly to approved contractors.  
    • If the total cost of an approved project exceeds the grant award amount, the homeowner will be responsible for paying the remaining balance.  
    • The City may inspect the property before and after improvements are completed.
