MDFM Vendor Terms and Conditions
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Vendors must receive official MDFM approval before vending.
Vendors may sell only products disclosed in their application and approved by MDFM. New products must be submitted before being sold.
Vendors are responsible for their own permits, licenses, taxes, labels, food safety, temperature control, insurance decisions, and required business documents. MDFM does not manage renewals or monitor vendor compliance.
Liability insurance is recommended, but not required by MDFM.
Food vendors, food trucks, trailers, cottage food vendors, and pet food or animal feed vendors are responsible for following all requirements that apply to their products.
Youth Entrepreneurs are free but must be approved. A parent, guardian, or approved responsible adult must be present for the full market.
Nonprofit/Community and Music/Entertainment categories are free but must be approved. Music/Entertainment may accept tips.
Vendors must keep booths clean, safe, respectful, and market-ready.
MDFM may accept, decline, waitlist, rotate, limit, pause, or remove vendors when needed to protect market quality, safety, category balance, or customer experience.
