Salve! Mihi nomen est Margarita. I have been a homeschool teacher for 15 years. I am a native Spanish speaker, which is a Romance language directly derived from Latin. I was introduced to Ecclesiastical Latin in high school and then moved to classical Latin when I started teaching homeschool.

Course Description

This introductory Latin 1 course/first form Latin focuses on the fundamentals of the Latin language, with an emphasis on grammar, vocabulary, and understanding the concepts of cases, declensions, and conjugations.
Course Objective

The fundamentals of Latin will help lay the foundation, starting with translating basic sentences and eventually translating classical texts as students progress through Latin levels.
