2026 HKIQEP Professional Assessment (Part I) Registration

This is a 3-hour written examination in English in six areas:

(i) Air
(ii) Environmental Impact Assessment and Health Impact Assessment (EIA & HA)
(iii) Environmental Science, Management & Policy (ESMP)
(iv) Noise
(v) Waste
(vi) Water

 

To pass Professional Assessment (Part I), candidates must pass each of the six areas, as well as achieve an overall pass.

The assessment is open to the public and there is no prerequisite requirement for application.

The results of Professional Assessment (Part I) is valid for up to five (5) years, i.e. sixty (60) months, from the date of the results notification letter.
