Support Creole Culture Day

One Saturday every October, Grand Coteau fills up for Creole Culture Day. The boucherie fire is lit by six in the morning, black-pot food comes off free all day, families trace their line, the language gets spoken out loud, and the music runs from juré to Zydeco until the last dance. The event is free to attend, and keeping it that way is on purpose. A free day for a thousand people is not free to put on. Your donation is what keeps Creole Culture Day free and open to everyone who walks in. Give once or give what you can, and the day stays free.
