  • Supporting Documents

These must be in PDF format. Please note that due to the high number of applications, letters are an important part of your application and getting to know you as an applicant. If the individual writing a letter of recommendation would like to submit separately from this form, their PDF may be emailed to internships@biminisharklab.com. In the place of the letter, please upload a file with information on who the letter is from, their email, and any other relevant information.

  • OPTIONAL: Supporting Video

This is NOT a requirement, however submitting a video will support your application and aid in the revision process as it allows us to get to know you on a more personal level. If possible, applicants are encouraged to submit a short (1-3 minute) video of themselves explaining why they would like to be an intern at the Bimini Shark Lab. The video can be very casual - fancy camera equipment and editing is not required. Phone camera/ selfie mode videos are acceptable. Use this as an opportunity for us to get to know the real you.
  • Please submit the supporting video via email attachment to internships@biminisharklab.com. Let us know below whether you will be submitting a supporting video, so that we can ensure it is reviewed with your application form. ".MOV" and ".MP4" video types are preferred.*
  • Health Status

Bimini is a remote island with one small clinic that has limited medical personnel. Please disclose any medical conditions that we would need to be aware of given our remote location. Please also note that the Shark Lab can not accommodate all eating habits and dietary preferences - for example, vegan, keto, grain-free, gluten-free etc., or life threatening allergies.
