As a Child Abuse Prevention Intern, you will support the development, coordination, and delivery of anti-victimization and prevention-focused educational programs. This role provides hands-on experience working alongside members of a Multidisciplinary Team, offering exposure to collaborative approaches in child advocacy and community protection. Interns will contribute to the creation of educational materials, presentations, resources, and interactive activities designed to promote child abuse prevention and community awareness while also assisting with the Center's Annual initiatives and projects. Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County (CACCC) is committed to providing a hands-on experience for undergraduate and graduate students in the following Degree Programs: Communications, Public Helath, Business Adminstration, Law, Psychology, Family Studies, Education, Criminal Justice, or other related fields.
Interns are an essential part of the team at Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County. They go above and beyond to help us fulfill our mission to provide safety, healing, and justice to children victimized by abuse and neglect.
Due to the sensitive nature of our business at CACCC, internship opportunities are limited to individuals 18 years of age.
Business hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 AM – 9 PM and Friday 8 AM – 5 PM
