Each season NWS is proud to offer a free educational concert to the students of Miami-Dade and Broward counties. This concert is designed for students in grades 4-12, but may also be viewed by younger students.
These thematic daytime concerts will introduce major orchestral works and composers to students from Miami-Dade and Broward counties. A program/study guide will be sent in advance to all participating classes and round-trip bus transportation is provided free of charge.
- Confirmations will be sent to in early November. Emails will be sent to the teacher email address on the application.
- Confirmed bus reservations will be sent in late November.
- A concert study guide will be sent to confirmed schools in January.
This form does not guarantee a spot at the concert. We are limited due to hall capacity. All forms will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Accepted schools will be notified in early November.
Additonally, we offer a free, high-quality webcast of our annual Education Concert program, which is a post-production recording of the concerts performed at the New World Center. If you would not like to attend in-person, you can opt for access to this webacst; or you also have the option to experience both. Any schools who could not attend due to capacity/availability will automatically receive a lesson plan and webcast.
