Culinary Arts Certification Course Accommodations
Our culinary certification meets the same industry-recognized standard for every graduate — no exception. If a physical, cognitive, or language need affects how you access instruction or demonstrate what you know, we'll work with you to remove that barrier, not the requirement. Every individual meets the same industry-recognized certification requirements. What we do is to provide support to get there.

Reading & writing support — written exams and materials can be read aloud, and you may answer orally or with a scribe. This tests your culinary knowledge, not your reading speed.
Physical Disabilities - no lifting, bending, unsteady gait, etc.
Extended time — additional time on written assessments for students who need it.
Materials in plain language — simplified study guides and step-by-step recipe cards available alongside standard materials.
Language support — core safety and skills materials available in English, and Spanish, with bilingual staff available during hands-on labs. (Apoyo lingüístico — materiales esenciales de seguridad y habilidades disponibles en inglés y español, con personal bilingüe disponible durante los laboratorios prácticos.)
