Overview of Conference
The mission of CANAR, Inc. is to serve as an avenue for collaboration and cooperation between Administrators of rehabilitation projects serving Native American persons with disabilities, to increase and enhance the quality of services, resulting in positive outcomes for Native American persons with disabilities.
The CANAR conferences provide an opportunity for all Native American Vocational Rehabilitation program staff, collaborators and supporters of the programs to learn about effective service delivery, obtain continuing education, as well as opportunities to network with programs providing similar services. Lastly, the conference will strive to provide renewed energy to address the challenges facing programs.
The Conference is of particular interest to representatives from Native American Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agencies across the country, individuals with disabilities including family members, State VR agencies, Client Assistance Programs, tribal government leaders and program administrators, rehabilitation students and educators, researchers and professionals interested in vocational rehabilitation services.
