  • A Broker of the Year award should recognize a broker who exemplifies outstanding leadership, professionalism, ethical conduct, and service to both the real estate industry and the community. The award should go beyond sales production and reflect the values of the association and the REALTOR® organization.

    Broker of the Year Qualifications
    A nominee must:

    • Must be a Broker/Owner, Designated Broker, or Managing Broker in good standing with the association.
    • Must be an active REALTOR® member for a minimum of five (5) consecutive years.
      Must be current on all local, state, and national association dues.
    • Must have no pending ethics violations or outstanding disciplinary actions within the past three years.
    • Must support and adhere to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.

  • REALTOR® of the Year Qualifications

    For a local REALTOR® association, the REALTOR® of the Year award should recognize the member who best exemplifies the REALTOR® spirit through leadership, professionalism, ethics, service to the association, and community involvement. The award should honor contributions made over the past year while also considering the nominee's overall commitment to the profession. This aligns with the guidance provided by the National Association of REALTORS®, which encourages associations to evaluate REALTOR® Spirit, business accomplishments, association involvement, and civic engagement.

    Recommended Eligibility Requirements
    A nominee must:

    • Be a REALTOR® member in good standing with the local association, state association, and NAR.
    • Be current on all dues and financial obligations.
    • Have no pending ethics, arbitration, or professional standards violations within the previous three years.
    • Demonstrate adherence to the REALTOR® Code of Ethics.
    • Have been a member of the association for at least three consecutive years.
    • Not be serving as the current Association President.
    • Previous recipients are eligible again only after five years.
  • Affiliate of the Year Award Criteria

    The Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes an affiliate member who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the Association, its REALTOR® members, the real estate industry, and the community. This award honors an individual whose contributions extend beyond business success and reflect a genuine commitment to service, leadership, and professionalism.

    A nominee must:

    • Be an active and engaged member of the Association through committee service, volunteerism, event participation, and leadership.
    • Support REALTOR® members by sharing expertise, providing educational opportunities, and contributing to their professional success.
    • Demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and ethical business practices in all interactions.
    • Give back to the community through volunteer service, charitable activities, or civic involvement.
    • Make a positive and lasting impact on the Association by contributing time, talent, and resources not solely through sponsorship or financial support.
  • SRCAR® Community Champion Award should recognize a REALTOR® or Affiliate who has made a meaningful impact through volunteerism, charitable service, and community leadership. Unlike production or business awards, this honor focuses on giving back and improving the quality of life in the communities the association serves.

    Eligibility:

    • Must be a member in good standing
    • Volunteer efforts should have occurred primarily within the past 12 months.
    • Volunteerism must be within the SRCAR boundaries including Hemet, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Murrieta, San Jacinto, Temecula and Wildomar
  • The Rising Star Award (In Honor of Connie Lynch)

    The Rising Star Award honors a new REALTOR® who has quickly distinguished themselves through professionalism, achievement, and a commitment to the real estate industry. Named in honor of Connie Lynch, this award recognizes emerging professionals who exemplify the values of integrity, service, and leadership early in their careers.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must be an active C.A.R. and SRCAR® REALTOR® member who joined the Association in 2024 or later.
    • Must have closed at least 6 real estate transactions between January 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
    • Must be nominated by their Broker, Office Manager, or a YPN Committee member. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
    • Must be a member in good standing, with no restrictions on their DRE license and no Code of Ethics violations.
    • Preferred but not required: Candidates should demonstrate involvement in committees, attendance at SRCAR® events, and/or participation in community service.

  • All nominations will be reviewed in accordance with the established award selection process. Final award recipients will be determined in accordance with SRCAR® policies and procedures.
