All HAPS Exams are delivered online. You have three choices for administering your HAPS Exam, all require a live proctor:
1. Student Owned Devices - Students will use their own device to take the exam in a classroom setting.
They will receive an invitation from ExamSoft with instructions on how to download the software to their device. They will only be able to download this software once on one device.
2. Computer Lab - The exam can be administered in a Computer Lab.
The Lab Manager will be provided with instructions on how to download the ExamSoft software to the devices. Please review the Examplify Lab Setup information.
3. Loaner Devices - These are institution owned devices made available to students.
Usually the exam-takers are not afforded the appropriate administrative rights needed to download and Install Examplify. In which case, your device managers may need to collect these devices to perform the install or otherwise afford the needed administrative rights to the device stewards (exam-takers).
If using the Computer Lab or Loaner Device option, please note that ExamSoft requires institutions begin the lab setup process at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to the scheduled exam. The timeline allows sufficient time to coordinate with IT or device management teams and address any reconfiguration issues that may arise.
