The Suncook Valley Rotary Club is hosting the 2025 Anything that Floats River Raft Race as part of the 43rd Annual Hot Air Balloon Rally.

Pre-registration is required. Waivers must be filled out by all participants - they can be submitted via email prior to the event or be collected in person. The waiver will be attached to your confirmation email once you register for the race.

No Waiver = No Participation.
Race Route

The race will begin at the Drake Field Boat Launch on Barnstead Road. The rafts must make their way out to and around a bouy in the middle of the river then race back to the boat launch - the First one to High Five the race coordinator wins! Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams to finish!
Rules/Regulations:
- All participants must be at least 13 years of age and sign a waiver that will be sent to the Team Captain. The waivers must be completed and returned via email or turned by the day of the race to Suncook Valley Rotary Club.
- All vessels must be homemade, crafted of materials that you could find around your house.
- No motors of any kind are allowed.
- U.S. Coast Guard approved “personal flotation devices” (PFD’s, life jackets or vests) must be worn at all times during the race.
- As a safety precaution, please be sure your vessel has an easy exit in case of emergency.
- All vessels must float on their own, without external support.
  Teams are responsible for the proper disposal of the craft remains after the race. A dumpster will be available at the end of the course. No vessels may remain after the event is finished.
- All participants must be contained within their vessel. No participants may swim alongside their vessel.
- The race will occur rain or shine! Cancellation will only occur due to severe or dangerous weather conditions.
- The race organizers reserve the right to amend these rules at any time and will notify you of any changes.
