Step back in time and experience the Middle Ages through hands-on learning, storytelling, drama, art, crafts, and interactive projects! This full-year course follows the BiblioPlan Year 2 curriculum as students journey from the fall of Rome through the Elizabethan Era. Each week students will explore significant people, places, and events while bringing history to life through mini-plays, creative projects, timeline work, map activities, and engaging class discussions.
Students will discover the growth of Christianity, the rise of Islam, the Byzantine Empire, medieval Europe, feudalism, the Crusades, the cultures of Asia, early explorers, the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Elizabethan Age. Throughout the year, students will complete crafts, present biographies, participate in dramatic reenactments, and celebrate their learning through review festivals and showcases that reinforce historical understanding in a memorable way.
