    July 20 - JTT Fall League registration opens on TennisLink

    August 17 - Coach/Captain's Meeting at High Point Tennis Center (11:30-1:00)

    August 20 - Last chance to request team number

    September 9 - Schedules published

    September 13 - Regular season League play begins

    October 18 - Registration closes | Last date to add players to roster

    November 15 - Regular season League play ends (may be used as a Rain Date)

    November 16 - Registration deadline for JTT Fall Section Championships

    December 5-6 - JTT Fall Section Championships (New Braunfels, TX)

    December 31 - Age cut-off date for fall league participants

  • DETAILS AND REMINDERS: 

    • All players must have some prior knowledge of the rules, scoring, and basic techniques of tennis.
    • All teams must have a minimum of 4 (four) players on the roster.
    • 18U Intermediate must have a minimum of one girl; all other divisions may be any combination of boys and girls. 
    • The number of team matches is dependent on the number of teams in the division.
    • The USTA Youth Protection Policies and Procedures apply to USTA Texas Junior Team Tennis and can be found at www.usta.com/safeplay. All Captains and Managers MUST be safe play approved. 

    Team numbers cannot be issued until the coach/captain has a current, active SafePlay certification.

     

    FORMAT:

    • 8U Red Ball - This league will be an organized PlayDay (date and location TBD)
    • 10U Orange Ball - Each team match will consist of 3 (three) 20-minute timed rounds of 3 (three) lines of singles. Players will play unlimited games within the 20 minutes and the number of games won will be recorded on the score sheet. 
    • 10U Green Ball and Above - Each team match will consist of 4 (four) singles and 2 (two) doubles. Lines should be played in order of strength. Match play is one 6-game Pro-set with a 7-point tie breaker at 5-5. No Ad scoring.
