Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the San Diego Made Summer Market on August 15th and 16th at Ingram Plaza in Liberty Station! This two day artisan market features over 120 local makers and handmade vendors, live music from San Diego artists, food trucks, photo booths, make-and-take craft stations, and interactive art and play areas.

Volunteers are essential to our events and keep prices for our makers and handmade vendors accessible. You’ll meet some great people, have a super rewarding time, and get a swag bag filled with goodies in return.

Please Note: This is a Two-Step Process
- Select Your Shifts: Please fill out the form below for shifts you can commit to work. You may sign up for multiple shifts (Note: thank-you gift bags are limited to one per volunteer, per event).
- Confirm Your Shifts: A email asking you to confirm your shift will be sent closer to the event. Please respond to that email to remain on the schedule. > If we do not receive a confirmation from you, we will assume you are no longer attending. This means a thank-you gift bag will not be reserved in your name.

Volunteer Shift Selection

Please ONLY select shifts you are available to work. You may sign up for multiple shifts, and you will recieve one thank you gift bag per event, not per shift.
Pre-Event Prep Volunteer Shifts (Unpaid)

Volunteers help prep for the event by painting, assembling signage, organizing materials, preparing vendor bags, and creating interactive art pieces and decor. This shift may include: Standing for long periods, lifting and moving items, cutting, writing, painting, etc.

Event Prep Volunteer Shifts
Event Set Up Volunteer Shifts (Unpaid)

Help direct vendors during set up and assist with placing decor, furniture, and event equipment as well as other tasks. This role may require standing and walking for long periods of time and lifting and moving items up to 30lbs (but we have a moving crew to help with the really heavy stuff :)

Event Day Volunteer Roles and Shift

During the event, volunteers may assist vendors and guests, staff information booths and front entry, empty trash and maintain event tidiness, and help ensure a smooth experience.

First and last shifts of each day may also:
- Assist with assembling and placing umbrellas, decor, furniture, trash bins, signage, and event equipment as well as other opening tasks.
- Dismantle and stage umbrellas decor, furniture, signage, and event equipment as well as other closing tasks.
Most roles require standing and walking for long periods of time and lifting and moving items up to 30lbs.
