Christine Frey

Chris is thrilled to partner with families at the Rooted Resource Center this year. With an MBA and a BA in Marketing and Management, Christ spent years in the corporate world managing service departments and working as a corporate Training Coordinator. She knows how to keep a classroom organized, engaging, and focused. Beyond degrees, Chris' true credentials come from her faith and her family. She has dedicated over 10 years to teaching Bible studies, cultivating a love for learning and discussion in her students. Closer to home, she has spent years fiercely advocating for and raising her special needs child. Navigating the daily realities of ADD, severe anxiety, and learning disabilities has taught her that education is never one-size-fits-all. Chris approaches teaching with an abundance of grace, patience, and a proven ability to pivot when a student needs extra support or a different approach to succeed.

Middle School

Covenant and Creation, focuses on the events which took place in the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth. God walked with Adam and Eve, but sin separated them from Him. As Adam, Eve, and their descendants navigate the fallen world outside of Eden, they struggle to live as their Creator intended. But God's plan for redemption-like a thread woven throughout all of human history-was already in motion. God made a covenant to bless all people through Abraham, regardless of how much humans would fail to keep their end of the promise to follow Him. God continually displayed faithfulness to His people even though they were unfaithful to Him.

Instead of treating the Bible like a collection of disconnected stories, students will learn to read the Old Testament as a collection of promises looking forward to Jesus Christ as Savior.

Course Fee: $75 (paid to instructor)
Supply Fee: $10 (paid to instructor for class supplies)
