  • Chris is thrilled to partner with families at the Rooted Resource Center this year. With an MBA and a BA in Marketing and Management, Christ spent years in the corporate world managing service departments and working as a corporate Training Coordinator. She knows how to keep a classroom organized, engaging, and focused.
    Beyond degrees, Chris' true credentials come from her faith and her family. She has dedicated over 10 years to teaching Bible studies, cultivating a love for learning and discussion in her students. Closer to home, she has spent years fiercely advocating for and raising her special needs child. Navigating the daily realities of ADD, severe anxiety, and learning disabilities has taught her that education is never one-size-fits-all. Chris approaches teaching with an abundance of grace, patience, and a proven ability to pivot when a student needs extra support or a different approach to succeed.

  • COURSE DESCRIPTION

  • Are your high school students ready to stand firm on God's Word in a culture declaring that truth is a choice you make? As homeschool students study apologetics, they'll learn the arguments to support the truth claims of the Christian faith and address objections and challenges raised by skeptics. Apologists demonstrate Christian beliefs using a combination of methods, including logic, philosophy, historical evidence, and scientific evidence.

  • Students will have deepened their relationship with the One True God, and will have the
    knowledge necessary to defend their beliefs to an unbelieving world.
