Weekly Volcano Newspaper Box Challenge Part Deux
This is a fundraiser for Weekly Volcano. The public will be asked to vote with dollars and the three boxes that receive the most contributions will receive special prizes. Every artist who paints a box will receive 50% of the net contributions after all expenses and transaction fees are subtracted. All the artists, their fans and Weekly Volcano can do social media campaigns as soon as the box is finished and a photo has been sent to Weekly Volcano. Artists who finish quickly will have the advantage of a longer campaign time. Boxes must be delivered by the artist to Art on the Ave Festival by 9 am Sunday August 9th 2026. After the festival the boxes will be placed inside trusted local businesses. More details will be provided if/when your application is accepted. Application deadline July 29.
