  • ASEAN-Australia Young Leaders Forum delegates at the ASEAN Secretariat 2019.

  • We are looking for the 30 most dynamic and motivated young leaders aged 18-29 from across ASEAN and Australia to represent their country at the 2026 ASEAN-Australia Young Leaders Forum in Singapore. We are looking for young leaders who bring:

    • Innovative perspectives and interest in social impact and entrepreneurship across a range of industries and challenges;
    • Drive to strengthen ASEAN-Australia relations;
    • Motivation to deepen knowledge of the cultures, challenges and opportunities facing ASEAN and Australia; and
    • Demonstrated leadership in their community.

    The ASEAN-Australia Young Leaders Forum (AAYLF) is a three-day in-person forum held in Singapore, that aims to connect and cultivate the next generation of leaders in ASEAN and Australia. In 2025, the Forum's theme will focus on oceans and the maritime domain. 

    The Forum will enhance understanding of ASEAN-Australia relations, deepen the leadership acumen of influential youth, and build direct people-to-people connections between young leaders across our region.

    Selected delegates must cover the forum fee of $180AUD to secure their delegate position in AAYLF 2026. Delegates must fully participate in the Forum, arriving on 26th November evening and departing on 30th November. The timing is shown below:

    • 26th November - Arrive in Singapore and hotel check-in 
    • 27th November to 29th November - AAYLF
    • 30th November - Hotel check-out and departure
