This is the most soul nourishing residency we have created. It is often the residency that connects artists to the spiritual / emotional parts of art making. It is a residency where often artists come seeking clarity, nourishment and sustaining energy. This is a great residency for artists already exploring the power of water and how that translates into art making. Regardless of your medium ( music, performance, visual arts, film, new media or esoteric practices ) this residency calls the artists that have been already searching for answers and worked with water in their art. It is a community space with lots of opportunities for discussions and knowledge sharing. If you are ready to lean in to a caring and sharing community this residency is for you. Often artists report water teachings during the residency to be empowering and often changing the course of their creativity. We support creatives with letters of support for grant applications and provide references when requested. We have a cost recovery model to do reciprocity with facilitators and educators. We have a limited number of partial and full scholarships for creatives from equity deserving communities that are already working with water a a creative force.
