CKYO programs engage some of the most talented and dedicated young musicians from Central Kentucky. We believe that a family’s ability to pay should never be a factor in whether or not a student chooses to attend CKYO. Families with multiple students participating in CKYO should complete a Tuition Assistance for each child.

Scholarship Family Commitment
Families receiving tuition assistance are expected to support CKYO through volunteer service and/or participation in designated fundraising activities during the season. For the 2026–2027 season, this expectation will be fulfilled through participation in CKYO's HundredX survey campaign (anticipated February 2027). At least one adult (18+) in the household is expected to complete 50 free surveys on their phone or computer during the campaign period. No purchase is required, surveys can be completed at any time during the campaign (runs for 20-30 days), and personal information is not sold. Participation helps generate funding to support scholarships for current and future CKYO students.

In addition, scholarship recipients (students) will be asked to submit a brief personal statement about what participating in CKYO means to them and how tuition assistance has made a difference for their family. These statements may be shared with donors and supporters in thank-you letters, impact reports, or other stewardship materials. Names and identifying information will only be used with your permission.
By completing and submitting this application:

Please Note: Financial assistance is not guaranteed and is determined based on the information provided in this application, however, CKYO makes every effort to grant the requests we receive.

Our Board of Director's Finance Committee will review applications. This application is confidential. The information on the form will not be disseminated. We will notify applicants of the award amount by August 17, 2026. And scholarship awards will be loaded onto student accounts so tuition amounts (if any) will be updated.

Need is the priority for the Financial Assistance Program of CKYO and we hope to be able to provide tuition assistance for any student who demonstrates that need.
