• From Impact to Advocacy: Meet ALICE

Join us for a conversation focused on the realities facing ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households in our region. Featuring newly released local ALICE data, this event will provide fresh insight into the growing gap between earnings and the true cost of living. Hear from regional leaders in the economy, workforce, and healthcare sectors as they share perspectives on the challenges ALICE families face—and the collective opportunities to drive meaningful change. Together, we'll explore how current impact can translate into stronger, more coordinated advocacy to improve outcomes and expand opportunity for working families in our community.

    Who is ALICE?

ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed—households that work but still struggle to afford basic necessities. Combined with those living at or below the Federal Poverty Level, ALICE households make up a significant and growing portion of our region. Understanding their challenges is essential to building stronger communities and creating solutions that help everyone thrive.
