Stream Sampling Registration & Waiver

Montgomery County Conservation and the Nishnabotna Water Defenders team up to lead a hands-on water quality workshop.

Details: We will meet at an easy-access site along the East Nishnabotna and learn the ins and outs of water quality monitoring. MCC Staff is certified in Save Our Streams water monitoring and will be assisted by the Nishnabotna Water Defenders to teach participants how to gather and record data. Learn how to do a series of chemical tests and sample for benthic macroinvertebrates.

I understand the risk of participating in an event with risks that include being in water, around live animals, and other environmental risks and hold harmless the institution, its directors, staff, and external program affiliates from any and all liability arising from any incident as the result of participation in this program.

3. I hereby release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the institution, its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, affiliates, and partners from any and all liabilities arising from any untoward incident in my participation to any class, workshop, and relevant sessions which may result to injury, loss, damage, or death.

4. All children and youth younger than 16 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult. All participants younger than 18 years of age need to have parental/ legal guardian consent.
