Understanding CCCAM Membership
CCCAM is the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan. It is our purpose to provide education, leadership, and guidance to all girls competitive cheer coaches. Therefore, our focus is to enhance and promote the growth of girls competitive cheer as a sport in Michigan. The benefits of the CCCAM membership include:
- MHSCA membership including $1,000,000 liability insurance policy
- Scholarship opportunities for your athletes
- Recognition for athletes & coaches, including programs like Academic All-State & Coach of the Year
- Mentoring Program
- Coach’s education opportunities
- Web maintenance for CCCAM.org
Membership is valid from September 1, 2026 to September 1, 2027
Understanding CCCAM Summit
The Summit, October 24th-25th, is the perfect way to prepare for the competitive season ahead! There are two days of educational opportunities for head coaches and assistant coaches of all levels.

- 3:00-4:30 - Rules Meeting

- Sunday highlights a full day of sessions geared to all experience levels. Sessions include stunting, tumbling, choreography, tips from top judges, how to improve your jumps, conditioning, cleaning rounds, and so many more topics that will make this your best competitive season.
Network with coaches from all over the state.
- MHSAA Competitive Cheer Rules Meeting - led by Kathy Westdorp, MHSAA Assistant Director and the MHSAA Representative for Competitive Cheer. It will include MHSAA Rules & Competitive Cheer Rules. Attending this session completes your Rules Meeting Requirement so that you do not need to complete it online.
