Be part of history as we launch the Inaugural Sullivan County Tennessee Fair in Piney Flats, Tennessee! We're looking for dependable, friendly, and energetic individuals to help make this first-ever fair an unforgettable experience.

These are semi-paid, semi-volunteer positions that offer a great opportunity to serve your community while earning extra money and enjoying the fair.

Position Details:
✅ Fair Dates: August 3–8, 2026
✅ Must be available to work at least 4 of the 6 fair days
✅ Pay: $10.00 per hour
✅ Receive 4 complimentary fair passes to enjoy the fair on your time off

Fair Operating Hours:
🕓 Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
🕛 Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Pass Restrictions:
🎟️ Complimentary passes are valid on any fair day except Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8.

Employee Code of Conduct

 

• Represent the Fair professionally and courteously.

• Report on time and wear assigned credentials/uniform.

• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

• No alcohol or illegal drug use while working.

• Treat guests, vendors, and fellow staff with respect.

 

Confidentiality & Ethics

I understand that non-public operational, financial, sponsor, volunteer, and attendee information obtained during my employment must remain confidential.

Liability Acknowledgment
I understand event work involves physical activity and outdoor conditions. I agree to follow safety instructions and promptly report accidents or hazards.

Photo & Video Release
I grant the Sullivan County Tennessee Fair permission to photograph or record me during fair activities for promotional, marketing, educational, and archival purposes without additional compensation.

Certification
I certify the information provided is true and complete. I understand employment is temporary for the 2026 Inaugural Sullivan County Tennessee Fair. Compensation will be made Tuesday, August 11th following the fair. This gives us time to do all paperwork and write checks or deposit money.
