Poetry in Transit is a celebration of community connection–both social and mobile–through the written & spoken word. We’re seeking artists and vendors to be a part of the event at Indiana Humanities 1-4 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026!
Poetry in Transit will feature a vendor area on the Indiana Humanities lawn while poetry readings take place on a parked IndyGo bus nearby. It's free to apply and to table at the event. We are especially interested in artists, writers, zine-makers, creatives, and other vendors who feature a collaborative community activity (such as a collaborative poem, mural, or story collection exercise) at their booth in addition to selling their own materials. Plan to be outside on the lawn for the duration of the event, except in inclement weather (we’ll move indoors in that case).
